Yendi Phillipps - Miss World Jamaica 2007 - Semi Finalists of Miss World 2007 Yendi Phillipps's Biography Age: 22 yrs Occupation: Student Height: 178 cms Yendi is current Miss World Jamaica 2007. She was selected among the 16 semi-finalists of Miss World 2007 in a Miss World event held in Sanya, China on December 1, 2007. Yendi comes from Kingston, that treasure trove of memories of Bob Marley and other reggae stars, and is pursuing a Master’s degree in Recreation and Leisure Management, having completed a Bachelor’s degree in Dance. She taught dance for three years in Jamaica and worked for a year as a student event programmer in New York. Dancing is her special talent, whether it be modern, jazz, African or traditional Caribbean. Her ambition is to run her own business as a dance educator and promoter of holistic wellness programmes. As well as dance, her hobbies include watching cricket, going to the beach, swimming and reading. She has a penchant for pastries.
