She became 1st runner up in Miss World 2007 contest held in Sanya, China on December 1, 2007. She was also among 5 finalists at Miss World 2007 contest. Micaela was born in Portugal and grew up in Lisbon and Angola. She loves both countries and now lives in the rapidly-growing city of Luanda.
