Kseniya Sukhinova was born in 1987 in Nizhnevartovsk, Russia. She is a Russian model, who won the Miss Russia 2007 pageant on December 14, 2007 in Moscow; but was unable to represent Russia at Miss Universe 2008 due to her college work. Now, she is in Johannesburg to represent her country at Miss World 2008 to be held on December 13, 2008. She may also represent Russia in Miss Universe 2009, if she doesn't win the prestigious Miss World title.

She is currently studying for a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineer of Administration, her ambition is also to become a Supermodel. Her name is commonly misspelled as Ksenia Sukhinova.

Miss World 2008 Semifinalist & Other Titles

She won the Miss World 2008 Best in Swimwear Competition Second Runner-up award, placing after Miss Mexico who was the eventual winner, and Miss South Africa was the first runner-up.

She has also won the Miss World Top Model Award on December 3rd; by winning this title she has automatically made into the semifinals of Miss World Contest.
