Hiroko Mima (also known as Mima Hiroko), born 1986 in Tokushima Prefecture is the new Miss Universe Japan 2008. She was crowned as Miss Universe Japan on April 3, 2008 after competing with over 4000 other girls vying for this coveted title. She currently attends Nihon University and majors in physical education. She is the official representative of Japan to the Miss Universe 2008 pageant that will take place in Nha Trang, Vietnam on July 14, 2008.

She is an athlete who competes in the high jump event of her college's track team. At a height of just over 5' 8" she high-jumps 5 foot 5 inches. Moreover, during her high school days she was also nationally ranked and participated in national sporting events.

Mima has been training for the Miss Universe 2008 pagaent with Ines Ligron who is also training Korea's candidate Sun Lee.
