Payal Tarafdar is an indian supermodel from Assam. She was crowned the Gladrags Mega Model 2008 in a Grand event of Gladrags Mega Model and Manhunt Contest 2008 held at Spring Mills on April 12, 2008. She also won the sub title of "Miss Most Beautiful" at the same event.
Sasha Gonsalves and Bianca Pereira were crowned First & Second Runners-up at the MegaModel Contest respectively.
Payel was among the top 24 contestants at Gladrags Megamodel 2008 Contest, a beauty pageant organized by Maureen Wadia and Gladrags Magazine.
In the Gladrags Manhunt 2008 Contest, Karan Rao of Bangalore was declared the winner alongside Payal, the newly-crowned Gladrags Mega Model 2008 at the same event.
