Aliza Shvarts - Yale Abortion Art Story was Faked!
Aliza Schwartz is a Performance Art Student at Yale - Fakes Abortion Art Story
Aliza Shvarts is an arts student at Yale University in the United States who has attracted extensive media attention recently for a controversial senior performance art project.
In this project, she had allegedly filmed a series of her self-induced pregnancies and miscarriages over the last nine months. This whole incident has sparked a lot of controversy and discussions on whether someone should be allowed to cross the ethical standards and decency to reach the so-called new level in creativity.
Aliza was reportedly quoted saying: "I think that I’m creating a project that lives up to the standard of what art is supposed to be," about her project. This project will be on exhibit from April 22 to May 1, 2008, at the Holcombe T. Green Jr. Hall on Yale's New Haven, CT, campus.
Regarding the whole controversy, Yale University has issued a statement today by calling it an artwork of "Creative Fiction" by its student and thereby diminishing all the previous false claims in this matter. Although the whole thing has turned out to be a faked story, still the question arises whether someone could cross the ethical limits to get publicity or to create a masterpiece!
