She was born October 10th, 1970 in China from a talented family. Her mother was an actress and her father a musician.
Before her playboy venture, Bai was a pinup girl in China. Bai appeared in several Chinese movies before coming to the United States. Her big break in Hollywood was in “The Crow” where she played the lover of the main character. She also acted in “Anna and the King.”
Bai Ling had appeared on the cover of Playboy magazine in June 2005 but she was recently in news for shoplifting at Los Angeles International airport. She was placed under citizens arrest by a counter clerk for allegedly stealing batteries and a couple of magazines.
Haha, it's funny that a lot of people just found out about Bai from that arrest. I remember her in The Crow, and Sky Captain, and I know she's going to be in a new movie too called Chain Letter (horror movie).
